Yash Raj Films will be making their television debut with five shows for Sony Television on January 1. One of the shows, Rishta.com will have actress Shruti Seth in a pivotal role, but very few know that the show is being directed by her younger brother Rishabh Seth.

Rishabh has been a writer with Channel V for a few years now and Rishta.com is his directorial debut. He is also writing the show. An excited Rishabh says, “It’s a big opportunity. I took the story to Yash Raj and they asked me to be on board as writer. I was later informed that they wanted me to direct it as well.”

He says Shruti entered the picture much later. “She was the producer of the show but Yash Raj was keen to produce it. Many girls auditioned for the role, Shruti was the last one to try but she was perfect.”

Rishabh now wants to direct a movie too. He says, “I will not disclose any of my future plans now, but yes directing films is on my agenda.For now, it is only Rishta.com.”

Meanwhile, sister Shruti returns his compliment. She says, “Rishabh is very talented and hardworking. He has been associated with many popular shows of Channel V. He is a perfectionist.”No Users found in the list.
